CNM conducts a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment on all new purchases. CNM contracts the University of New Mexico Office of Contract Archeology to conduct an Archeological Monitoring survey prior to construction on CNM property.

CNM strives to meet the requirements of the related LEED credits, specifically SSc1 Site Selection, Brownfield Redevelopment, SSc5.1 Site Development - Protect or Restore Habitat and SSc5.2 Site Development - Maximize Open Space, whenever possible.
