The Environmental Planning and Design program will provide you with a pathway toward completing the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Planning and Design, one of two bachelor’s degrees offered in UNM’s School of Architecture and Planning.

The Concentration in Sustainability Studies at CNM requires a combination of 15 credits of lower-division courses in Economics, Environmental and Planetary Sciences, Geography, Political Science, and Sociology, including SUST 1134 (Introduction to Sustainability).

For students who intend to transfer to the University of New Mexico, CNM's concentration in Sustainability Studies fulfills the lower division requirements for UNM's Sustainability Minor.
