Faculty/ Faclities Partnership to engage the CNM Community

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :

Academic affair and the CNM Facilities Department have been working together to develop campus as a living Lab opportunities for students. Four projects have been identified to develop a practices, processes and funding to provide hands on experience for student using the campus environment.


A brief description of any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation (if not reported above):

As a result of the work between facilities and the academic side of the house, CNM is working to house a teaching faculty in the facilites department to assist in reviewing projects that have campus as a living lab component and to work with faculty to develop learning outcomes that assist the student is getting a certification in their career path.
