A brief description of the institution’s green athletics program:
The CMU Basketball Arena within the Student Activity Center is LEED Certified. Additionally, once a year, as a part of the Campus Race to Zero Waste, CMU hosts a zero-waste basketball game. This is in addition to public education through tabling, and sustainability education videos played at the half-time of all basketball and football games.
