Central Michigan University used data from 2021 because that was the only year within the past three years that CMU had volunteer data regarding the number of student volunteers. Therefore, the total hours contributed is from 2021, and the total number of students is the enrollment for Fall 2021. With COVID-19, CMU has seen a dramatic decline in community service, but as restrictions loosened, community service hours have increased in 2022 and 2023.
