Please reference inventory.
A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
The website "Scholars at Central Michigan University" was used to examine faculty/staff research. The sustainability research inventory lists all faculty/staff that are involved in sustainability research, their department affiliation, and their sustainability research interests, if they completed sustainability research in 2020, 2021, or 2022. The AASHE definition of sustainability was used to determine what qualified as sustainability research, encompassing social justice and environmental research publications. Only faculty/staff that had completed research in 2020-2022 were included in the total headcount of employees that conduct research or sustainability research.
