A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
Within all new student orientation, facilitators present information and resources about recycling on campus. Throughout the campus tour, designated recycling locations are highlighted and explained. Additionally, when touring dining halls, composting and low impact dining signage, with pertinent information are displayed and discussed. Further, the CMU Recycling Department created a custom waste diversion and CMU spirit film to be played at all student orientations.
