The Sustainability Leadership Presentation Series (SLPS) is a collaborative live broadcast of highly qualified and credible speakers, presenting on regional topics of sustainability and global and local environmental issues. The SLPS stimulates needed discussion and provides examples for action, planning and problem-solving for leadership in environmental sustainability.
All College In-Service trains staff on all sustainability initiatives at the entire college. Another training by the Environmental Sustainability office involved all staff in which they were given all campus tours of sustainability projects and initiatives.

AASHE conference and workshops in STARS
Renewable Energy and Wind tower climbing training offered offsite.
We were trained for to become members of C.E.R.T. Community emergency response team. The training included teachings of how to assess an emergency before professional responders are arrive in the event of an emergency. Persons that took the class were able to learn how to triage a hurt person, provide basic first aid, how to identify the level of care needed for a person in the event of an emergency, how to act in the event of an active shooter, and an actual hands on emergency simulation. Also there is monthly professional development opportunities to keep the certification current in which love scenarios or real emergency response action is needed.
