A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
This conference is uniquely innovative as it draws attention to specific issues within sustainable living. From herb and vegetable gardening to fruit and nut production, homesteading and permaculture, its focus is adaptation and resiliency. Local, and multi regional farmers, students and community members converge to share information and spread awareness about changes in our environment, ecology and spirituality, local economy, renewable resource harnessing, and sustainability issues in politics and government. CCCC hosts in collaboration with Abundance NC, a local, community building, non profit organization with a mission to support all that is good and sustainable.
