The portion of the campus that is managed organically is kept as an ecological preserve and is subject to a conservation easement that limits the use of the property. The College employs a Preserve Keeper who works with student interns to maintain the property through natural means. This team works to remove non-native, invasive species while ensuring that trails and water features are free of debris. No chemicals can be used on this land.
