A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
Catawba College has eliminated plastic shopping bags and plastic straws in our dining facilities. The College also has eliminated plastic to-go containers from its Dining Hall by providing reusable containers that are returned to the Dining Hall for cleaning after use.
