Benefits for Classified staff are typically valued at around 30% of the salary, so here is an estimate of the benefits for the bottom and top of the range for this position (these figures include KCPP, this is for the lowest full-time employee position, Office Assistant 3):

Step A Total Compensation: $44,848.00
Step M Total Compensation: $59,230.00

Included as part of this total compensation figure is salary, medical, dental, life insurance/AD&D, long term disability, retirement savings plan, sick/vacation/holiday pay.

We are still under the 16.58/hour at Step A by state mandates, however, we pay at step A 21.56. However, with Steps A through M of promotions and raises, can reach a livable wage. Starting living wage is 24.39 in the area.
