A brief description of the institution’s formal community partnership to advance sustainability (2nd partnership):

Friends of North Creek Forest is a partner Non Profit for teaching Forestry Education, and maintaining and protecting a local wild-forest park space.
We partner with FNCF to create student opportunities for internships, work with them for volunteer events, and have had our alumni work in connection with them for projects, creating workshops, and design.

They work to accessibly reach students through classes and site visits, and our college serves to be a launching point of support for sustainable forestry education to K-12 students, and training for our college level students as leaders, teachers, and researchers.
