A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
The 2024 Commuting Survey was distributed to 1000 students that were pulled as representative samples; 500 graduate students and 500 undergraduate students. Participants were selected to ensure a diverse and balanced representation of the university community. Data was collected through surveys with mixed, qualitative and quantitative measures, including questions about their commuting habits, preferences, and suggestions. This approach provided representative insights into the commuting patterns and preferences within our target population. We collected a total of 143 student responses (14% response rate).

A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:
The 2024 Commuting Survey was distributed to 500 faculty and staff. Participants were selected to ensure a diverse and balanced representation of the university community. Data was collected through surveys with mixed, qualitative and quantitative measures, including questions about their commuting habits, preferences, and suggestions. This approach provided representative insights into the commuting patterns and preferences within our target population. We collected a total of 268 faculty/staff responses (53% response rate).
