The university does not have a waterless urinal. However, the university currently uses ultra low flow urinals (.5 liter per flush) installed in 2 buildings.

Carnegie Mellon tested waterless urinals on two ocassions in the past and had unsatisfactory performance in both trials. This technology appears to have matured and we will conduct another trial over the next 12-18 months.
