A brief description of the program:
Student volunteers, Eco-Reps, OC's or RA's, collect all cardboard waste on the move-in day. Carnegie Mellon University requests special hours for custodians and extra cardboard pickups from the waste hauler to accommodate for extra recycling generated.
Also, the City of Pittsburgh has extra cardboard pickups to accommodate for all of the Oakland Community universities.
