A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:

All vendors, at their discretion, are encouraged to use the compost dumpsters at the University Center, Gates Hillman, and Resnik loading docks. While no policies are formally set, some vendors utilize the dumpsters. Several departmental Green Teams collect coffee grounds, food waste and hold zero waste events, where all waste generated can be composted.
