Included within the Community Service program hours, are hours as part of the Co Curriculum Record (which encourages involvement in student leadership, development, extracurricular activities). Only the positions are added and recorded by Carleton, not hours. Some could be for attending a single conference, which would be 3 hours. Others could be for being involved in an on-going initiative which could be a few hours weekly throughout the term and in excess of 30. For the purposes of the submission an average of 10 hours as been assumed for CCR students to ensure that this community service is captured.
