Sustainability Carleton operates a specific platform on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. This is focused on promotion and information towards events, programs and activities on campus, including teaching and research.
A sustainability newsletter is also provided and consists of a green tip of the month and how to complete the task which the tip recommends. In addition departmental specific newsletters included sustainability as a sub-section.

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Each residence building has a display screen in its main foyer which updates on energy usage, water consumption, and GHG from that building. In the main lobby of Residence Commons there is also a touch screen that allows users to view the energy, water, and CO2 data from each building in residence compared to one another. There is also an additional screen in the Canal Building on campus which displays live data for the community.
In addition building which have been certified to Green Globes have a plaque included within the entrance/hallway. Other examples of signage include waste and recycling promotion (information walls) and signage towards bottle filling stations.

The Housing services website provides a blog on how to live more sustainably in residence as well there is a residence group called project green that brings residence students who are interested in green living together.
