A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
To complete the course inventory a review of all the department's courses that were offered during the summer, fall and winter semesters of the 2021/2022 year were completed. This was done by using CourseLeaf, a software that keeps a record of all courses being offered within a specific year. A combination of key words search and departmental knowledge was used to confirm course content.

Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections

Each course was only counted once. All research, thesis papers and placements were not counted, even if included within a sustainability related department or subject area.
