Has the institution engaged in a structured assessment process during the previous three years to improve diversity, equity and inclusion on campus?:
Yes

A brief description of the assessment process and the framework, scorecard(s) and/or tool(s) used:

Our Committee on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (CEDI) is extremely active on campus, hosting events and sharing information with the campus on a regular basis. Their FY19 report is here: https://d31kydh6n6r5j5.cloudfront.net/uploads/sites/225/2019/10/CEDI_2018_19_Annual_Report.pdf

CEDI takes pieces and does smaller projects well each year. Charge from the President. It's most current project focused on accessibility and gender-neutral bathrooms.

They also are collecting information about all diversity and inclusion training as a "map" of resources on campus.

Does the assessment process address campus climate by engaging stakeholders to assess the attitudes, perceptions and behaviors of faculty, staff, administrators and students, including the experiences of underrepresented groups?:
Yes

Does the assessment process address student outcomes related to diversity, equity and success (e.g. graduation/success and retention rates for underrepresented groups)?:
Yes

Does the assessment process address employee outcomes related to diversity and equity (e.g. pay and retention rates for underrepresented groups)?:
No

A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs and initiatives:

Campus Conversations from VP of Student Life that lead to many changes across campus. The most recent example is that Community, Equity, Diversity Initiative (CEDI) did an assessment of all restrooms on campus to asses and prioritize making restrooms ADA complaint and gender-neutral. This group is also creating a report on all the diversity-related training from each department (map). The link below also has the most recent charge of this group.

Are the results of the most recent structured diversity and equity assessment shared with the campus community?:
Yes

A brief description of how the assessment results are shared with the campus community:

Campus Climate Survey conducted in 2008, which lead to the creation of CEDI. CEDI is a formal campus committee made up of faculty, staff, and students to do diversity and inclusivity research. Their annual reports are circulated online via email and regular updates are given at the all-employee quarterly meetings.
