The Sustainability Program Coordinator worked on a year-long class that introduces students of color and underrepresented groups to the STEM Field. Various research was conducted on the topic of waste at Carleton and produced a journal of their findings. This class united a group of students who might not have usually chosen to work in a sustainability-relevant field and exposed them long-term to STEM.
