CapU works with a third party vendor to facilitate the survey and to collect employee feedback, get real-time insights and to keep responses completely anonymous. Confidentiality is a major consideration for us with this initiative so we can get true and relevant feedback.

The methodology used focuses on helping us gain insight into employee engagement and the factors that help employees succeed. The model used has three major components that help us measure and understand how to positively impact employee engagement going forward:

1. Engagement Index: a collection of questions to measure the attitudes and behaviours which define engaged employees

2. Engagement Factors: indices to support understanding of the major factors that contribute to employee engagement

3. Employee Voicer: using processing technology to support understanding of employee sentiment and themes. This supports deeper understanding of employee engagement through employee comments.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:

The President and Executive work with Senior Leadership Council (SLC) to review results. The SLC then share the results with their respective teams to invite discussion and engagement. Employees are given access to a full presentation of the results as well as an overview handout. Ideas are then shared back with SLC on how to move forward with the issues raised as well as to find alignment and tweak projects that are already underway.
