The VP People & Culture completed an EDI Audit (2022) and an Employee Engagement Survey (2023) that included elements of EDI. Additionally CAPU has conducted a Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey (bi-annually), sexual violence perception survey.

The EDI Audit was completed for the University to be able to enhance intersectional diversity, offer ongoing IDEA+B training, review Accessibility in terms of Accessible BC,, and to improve cross-cultural understanding with the employee and student populations through enhanced resources and training.
