At CAPU all janitorial products are purchased by the univerity and provided to the 3rd party Janitorial vendor (BEST). The full list of purchases for the 2021 calendar year was provided by Staples, Capilano University's Janitorial product supplier.


The inventory was first triaged to remove any products purchased for campuses outside of the institutional boundary of this report. Once categorized into Janitorial and Paper products, each product was then reviewed to determine any environmental certification. This was completed by reviewing the product data sheets available by the supplier. Only products with clearly identifiable eco-lables have been included in the figures above.
