As detailed above, the survey reflects students willing to participate in the survey. the survey was not directed towards specific student groups, rather any students willing to paticipate. Data was collected in person by ambassadors using mobile tablets.
A brief summary of results from the cultural assessment:
The results from the survey were compiled into a report and presented to the Student Engagement Committee. The results indicated a general understanding that the organization is making sufficient efforts to combat climate change, however more transparency on specific measures is required. Additionally, students indicated a general interest to become more directly involved in the efforts implemented by the institution.
The results also included a series of suggestions for additional sustainability measures, including:
- Greater public transport accessibility
- Open Education Resource use
- Greater promotion and sharing of existing sustainability initiatives
- Improved waste recycling and less 'single use' (plastic) cuttlery dependency

In addition to the Climate Justice Survey, a Student's Group Sustainability Checklist has been created for students. This provides a checklist toolkit to enable student organizers be mindful of sustainability and practice sustainability when they organize events on campus
