Aramark dining services is committed to providing foods that are produced and procured in an ecologically, environmentally and socially responsible manner, and partner with many different growers, producers, suppliers and distributors to increase the availability of such foods. Aramark's Local Produce Purchasing Program (by province /region) includes: • Partnering with growers and distributors Canada wide • Promoting local with “Locally Grown” identifiers and seasonal menu features • Local dairy products and shell eggs served provincially • Canadian Raised • Purchase and Promotion of Canadian raised protein items

A brief description of the methodology used to track/inventory sustainable food and beverage purchases:
ARAMARK uses their purchasing tracking system to track all products and to distinguish sustainable products . Products within this system continue to be coded at a central head office level by Sustainability and Supply Chain personnel for key attributes, including, Province of Origin, Province of Processing and Sustainability Attributes including Faird Trade, OceanWise, Organic Certified etc. The focus for purchasing is on four key areas, Locally grown, raised and produced foods; ecologically produced and humanely raised, sustainable seafood and socially responsible products. The information provided has been verified by ARAMARK’s head office and sustainability personnel, and are accurate to the best of their knowledge. Michael Yarymowich (Yarymowich-michael@aramark.ca) was the contact for Camosun though Aramark’s Corporate Sustainability office. ARAMARK was ranked as one of Canada's greenest employers in 2014 (http://www.canadastop100.com/environmental/) and one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2015 (http://www.aramark-es.com/382/ ).
