Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

The data for this survey was collected in December of 2022. The only other existing commuter data we had was from the 2018 survey, which was used in our last submission. In order to provide an updated assessment and accurate picture of our new normal on the other side of the pandemic, a survey of the current population was determined to be the best route.

A survey was conducted and 7% of commuting students (n=109) submitted responses. Those living on-campus (n=1920) were added to those commuters who walk, bike, carpool, take the bus, or telecommute to calculate the Total Percentage of Students who commute with sustainable methods.
For subcategories, the percentage of commuting students who responded to each method of transportation was multiplied by the overall percent of commuters (of the general student body) to calculate answers.
