The Prince Lodging center (34,595 ft^2) received Green Lodging Michigan Steward Certification in 2010. This (steward) is the second-highest tier in this award, second only to "Leader." This non GBC OM maintenance standard is recorded above, with links in the details below.

Bunker Interpretive Center was certified LEED Gold in 2005. More info at: https://calvin.edu/directory/places/bunker-interpretive-center

The building has an integrated pest control management system. Water is managed with waterless urinals, toilets and gray water is recycled. Green cleaning techniques are also used with minimal chemical usage.
