A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
The Calvin Community Garden operates on two sites. The Knollcrest East site provides 12 rental plots for student and community gardeners.
The goal of the Calvin Community Garden is to raise awareness about the beauty and productivity of the land. Volunteering for the community garden is an excellent summer activity. It provides a relaxing natural atmosphere in which one can appreciate God's creation and God's purpose. Volunteers will learn how to take care of the garden and how to harvest some great homegrown plants and vegetables, many of which are used in the Calvin dining halls!
