A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
There are bike racks across campus. The showers are located in the basement of Hoogenboom Health/Rec Center, and there are multiple bike racks immediately outside the building. There are bike storage rooms for residential students which are located in each dorm basement (see "summer storage" here: https://calvin.edu/dotAsset/fc0a2d41-d811-48d9-8306-afc933581194.pdf )

Multiple bike racks around all buildings.

Campus roads are not public roadways and do connect to the public bus stop. There are dedicated paths on campus that are used by walkers, bikers, skateboarders, etc. but no motorized vehicles.

Yes

Calvin subsidize mass transit. Students, staff and faculty only have to pay $.50 rather than $1.50.

A brief description of the carpool/vanpool program:
There is a community board for students who wish to share rides -- either for commuting or for holiday transportation. There is also a community board for parents to organize ride sharing for students. We also offer cheap car-sharing options for trips to the airport around holidays for students traveling to/from home.
