Calvin has conducted an employee engagement survey in 2012, 2014 and 2016 through the Best Christian Workplaces Institute. Their 58 question survey highlights the level of overall employee engagement by examining the themes of inspirational leadership, life-giving work, sustainable strategy, outstanding talent, healthy communication, rewarding compensation, fantastic teams, and uplifting growth.

An analysis of outcomes provided by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute are reviewed with senior leadership to develop college-wide initiatives to specifically address areas that are critical to the successful execution of the Strategic Plan.
