1. Affirmed the University’s Diversity Statement, and aligned the Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan with the University Strategic Plan.
2. Developed a campus-wide implementation plan that includes activities, education, communication, feedback, and ongoing involvement including: creating and fostering a diverse and inclusive campus climate supportive of students, faculty, staff and administrators.
3. Ongoing assessment to ensure that the campus’ curriculum and programs acknowledge and support diversity and inclusion; assessing, recruiting and retaining a diverse population of students, faculty, staff and administrators; and assessing and supporting diverse external and community advisory boards and other partnerships.
4. Secured campus-wide affirmation for the Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, monitored its implementation, and began progress reporting. Division Vice President's shared progress at PCDI and included progress/achievements in book of trend where applicable.

A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:
A student climate survey was administered October 2020. Results of the survey informed Student Affairs planning, as well as being shared with the President's Commission on Diversity and Inclusion, Institutional Effectiveness and Analytics, the Dean of Students and the Warrior Cross Cultural Center. Effective 2021 Student Affairs annual department year-end internal reporting encompassed the pillars of the University Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan to which the Student Climate Survey was attached.
Due to COVID-19, recommendations from the Student Climate Survey were not uniformly implemented. However, results and the inferred information provided resulted in a new annual internal reporting requirement for Student Affairs departments starting June 2021 and still in effect through 2022-2023 reporting. This requirement aligned with the four pillars of the campus Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, Pillar I being Campus Climate.
