Do the figures reported above cover one, two, or three academic years?:
One

A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Course list was provided by the Provost’s office, to include active courses during academic year 2022-2023. The comprehensive course list was narrowed down to exclude duplicates, cross-listed courses, internship/capstone/individual-led courses as allowed by credit requirements. Any courses not held during AY 22-23 were not included, even if they meet the other requirements per credit requirements.
- Sustainability staff conducted a keyword search for sustainability-related courses, using the AASHEE-provided keywords list and parameters
- Included all courses that count for credit under the Multicultural Requirement for earning a bachelor’s degree
- Included all courses that count for credit under the Ethnic Studies section of the General Education requirement for earning an undergraduate degree
- Included all courses identified under the Teaching Climate Change and Resilience Faculty Learning Community held in Spring 2022
- Course descriptions identified by the keyword search were reviewed by Sustainability staff for compliance with the definitions, and sent to college deans and department chairs for review
- Courses included in previous STARS report were included, any new courses that were not part of the previous report, not identified as a multicultural requirement, not identified as an ethnic studies requirement, or not identified as part of the climate change faculty learning community, are included with the keywords associated to sustainability as well as mapped to the SDGs the course covers.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
