Zipcar is the contracted program on campus that may be used by CSUSM students, faculty, and staff. Two vehicles are located on the first floor of Parking Structure 1 and available 24/7.

A brief description of the incentives for fuel efficient vehicles:
Alternative fuel vehicles have designated parking spaces on a first come first serve basis. Vehicles must display an emblem stating that they are an alternative fuel vehicle. Reserved spaces are located throughout campus.

CSUSM has 7 ChargePoint electrical vehicle charging units available 24/7 to campus community members as well as the general public.

Yes

Discounted Transit Cards: Students may purchase a discounted monthly transit pass for use throughout San Diego county.

Zipcar: CSUSM campus community may create an account free of charge for the first year and discounted $15/annual fee for the following years

Bicycle lockers: lockers are available to CSUSM campus community members for rent on a semester basis. This program allows safe keeping for those who wish to store their bikes while on campus.

Rental Bike Locks: if a campus community member forgets their bike lock, they can rent one from Parking and Commuter Services free of charge per day.

Carpool Parking Permits: reserved proximity parking is offered to those who wish to purchase a carpool parking permit and share with another campus community member.

Carpool Link: students can enter their information online to find a carpool partner and aid in sharing commute costs.

Carpool Board: students may post their commute information to aid in finding a carpool partner.

Vanpool: SANDAG provides a subsidy for a vanpool for our faculty/staff. On campus we offer a vanpool parking spot for a vanpool
