A brief description of the institution’s program to support employee volunteering:

Employees are encouraged to participate in campus community service opportunities. One such example of this is for Cesar Chavez day. Campus is closed on this day, but we conduct a large community day of service. Depending on your supervisor, you may receive compensatory time.
