Sustainability professional development and training is offered in a variety of ways:
1. Staff Appreciation and Development (SaND)- trainings to staff have been given to staff on sustainability, waste and recycling
2. Departmental training when requested for both Sustainability and Inclusive Sustainability (in partnership with our Office of Inclusive Excellence)
3. University Leadership Conference which is held by Office of Inclusive Excellence and the Faculty Staff Associations

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :
Staff have the ability to participate in our Environmental Leadership Academy that is offered through our Extended Learning Program. Some staff participate in continuing education credits for LEED certification, as well as Environmental Health and Safety.
