1st program
Clear the Air Ambassador Program
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Established in Fall 2018, the mission of the Clear the Air Ambassador Program is to educate the campus community about our 100% Smoke, Tobacco, and Vapor Free Campus Program and provide resources to support the initiative. The Ambassador Program is staffed by CSUSM student interns and volunteers. Ambassadors encourage compliance with the Smoke, Tobacco, and Vapor Free Policy through ongoing peer-to-peer interaction, engagement, and education.
The focus on this program is education, with a key element being the environmental impacts littering cigarette butts has on the environment.

A brief description of the student educators program’s target audience (1st program):
The target audience is all students who attend CSUSM. Through large and small events, tabling and "daily rounds" the ambassadors are able to engage our students in educating them about cigarette litter, our smoking policy and how to get involved.

Environmental Stewards Association
A brief description of the student educators program (2nd program):
Our Environmental Stewards Association does peer-to-peer sustainability outreach and education programs. They partner with ASI and dining to do educational events such as Weigh the Waste. They work with all students across the campus

The Environmental Stewards Association is open to all students on campus. They table, use social media, conduct presentations in classes and engage with partner organizations.
