Diversity Mapping by Halualani and Associates – the process evaluated all current diversity efforts, progress, and curricular components to identify our current status of inclusive excellence.

A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs and initiatives:
In our assessment finding from Haluani it was estimated that 42% percent of campus members (students, faculty, employees and administrators) were impacted by our institutions diversity efforts. Diversity efforts aims for and reaches students and or the general campus membership as a whole, but that more could be done to reach more units, departments and divisions. It was also clear that diversity had multiple meanings throughout campus. We are currently in vetting a new strategic plan for next five years and the diversity mapping results have informed the direction of the new plan.

A brief description of how the assessment results are shared with the campus community:
The campus community was updated and involved in the assessment process. The steps of the process is currently housed on our website. Haulani & Associates also held open forums over multiple days to share their findings. The presentation is also available online for those who could not attend.
