A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The University utilized a campus wide survey to faculty and staff. The survey was communicated via campus-wide communication to email accounts. Responses were anonymous. Results were reviewed by management for further action. The results were analyzed by the campus Office for Analytics and University Effectiveness.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
1) The University President learned about safety concerns through his initial 100 days of listening.
2) In August 2023, the University President sent out communication announcing the creation of a Presidential Taskforce on Campus Safety. This taskforce included representatives from faculty, staff, students, administration, public safety, and other experts to make recommendations on how to improve safety and well-being at Sac State.
3) The taskforce engaged in conversations, hosted community town halls, and collected data via survey.
