The innovative practice implemented by the sustainability team involves process improvement and guidance towards waste reduction strategies. Members of the sustainability team made site visits to various locations throughout the region including educational and business entities. Process improvement strategies included assessment of current practices, waste stream sources, and direction on how to improve waste reduction goals.
