A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

Each month, Human Resources facilitates a New Employee Welcome Orientation open to all newly hired, and interested current CSUN employees.  Sessions cover everything from employee relations, to our history, equity and compliance, environmental health and safety, and information technology. payroll and benefits to employee enrichment and fitness.  The presentation also covers the University’s Road Map, including the prominent role sustainability plays in how we educate students, and how we operate the university, sharing how employees can get involved and help us reach campus goals. A recent addition to the Orientation is a walking tour of the campus during which sustainable facilities and practices are highlighted.
