Campus Wide LED Lighting Upgrade
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
CSUN is nearing the completion of a campus-wide LED lighting upgrade project. This project involves the removal of existing lighting and upgrading to more efficient LED lighting technology. The process began with the University Library, which is now complete and will ultimately involve a total of 30 buildings by the end of Spring 2021. Financial incentives from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will greatly reduce the project's cost.
