A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Beginning in 14/15FY we have incorporated Sustainability in the New Employee Welcome Orientation (NEWO) sessions. New Employee Orientation is open to all CSUN staff and faculty members. These sessions cover everything from pay roll and benefits to employee enrichment and fitness. We now have incorporated a session on sustainability. This session covers what sustainability at CSUN means, what commitments we have signed, recent and ongoing projects, our 10 main focus areas (energy, water, waste, educations, etc.) as well as how they can get involved.
