CSUMB, being an old military base, has many old buildings that are systematically being demolished. Demolition contracts require a minimum of 90% of non hazardous demolition waste be recycled. Additionally, construction contracts require the same. Metal, concrete, wood, clean sheetrock, and asphalt are all recycled.
