Sustainability is included prominently during the campus tour portion of orientation where details about campus sustainability are shared such as the leed certification of several buildings, as well as some water retention techniques the university is using. Details are also shared regarding the shuttle system to cut down on driving and parking as well as the bike rental program through student recreation.
Interactive games are offered at tabling events related to sustainability, large events are zero waste.
