Yes

A brief description of the program:
Our program began in 2010 as a part of a recycling grant received by Facilities Management and Planning. For the week before graduation volunteers staff drop-off stations for reusable items, batteries, and hazardous waste. Additional recycling dumpsters are provided outside and carts to accept reusable items are placed throughout the residential halls.
The event is coordinated with the Monterey Regional Waste Management District and our waste hauler to increase recyclable materials and divert reusable materials for resale at the Last-Chance Mercantile.
