A brief description of the program:
A carpool is defined as two or more people traveling to and from campus in one privately-owned vehicle. The members of the carpool must be University employees, students, or affiliates. Any vehicle driven for a carpool must display a current faculty/staff, student, or affiliate parking permit. Carpool vehicles may park in the areas authorized by the permit. No special carpool permits are available.
Members of a carpool are encouraged to register the carpool at the Transportation and Parking Office in building 82. Registered carpool members are eligible to receive up to five complimentary day parking permits per month. The permits allow the participants the opportunity to drive alone. The permits are not transferable and may not be accumulated.
