A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the inventory:
A survey consisting of several questions regarding sustainability in the classroom was sent to all faculty members. This survey will be available on the university sustainability site. This survey is prefaced by a definition of "sustainability focused" and "sustainability related" coursework in order to facilitate its completion.
The survey was sent out to all faculty members; tenure track and non-tenure track, on May 9, 2011 and completed on May 27, 2011. It was administered through "Student Voice" which has a contract with the university to provide survey tools and administration. A total of over 300 faculty members were sent the survey and a total of 124 faculty completed and submitted the survey. A summary of the survey results will be available on the university sustainability site.
