CEQA evaluations were completed for for Science Wings A and B (2012), Public Safety (2011) and Corporation Yard (2012). In May 2017, Cal State LA completed a Final Environmental Impact Report for its North Campus Project.

Each CEQA report lists "the project site has no value as habitat for endangered, rare or threatened species" per CEQA Guidelines, Section 15332, and CSU CEQA Handbook, Section 1974.02

The North Campus Project Final Environmental Impact Report founds "No plant or animal community, rare or endangered plant or animal, or fish or wildlife habitat exist on the site. No important examples of California history or prehistory are present on the site. Therefore, no adverse impact will result."
